Multicultural Arts and Media Centre is delivering sessions for Youth (13 to 19 yrs old) as part of Positive Outcomes & Skills in association with the Greater Manchester Police, CCG (HMR) and Link4Life. The sessions are on every Mondays from 6pm to 8pm. The aim is to: • provide young people with skills in creating music, filming, poetry and recording • provide employability skills • consequences of crime and keeping safe • presentation of work created. Multicultural Arts and Media Center in partnership with Greater Manchester Police is providing Positive Outcomes and Skills for Young People (13-19years old) at MAMC every Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm. (Light refreshments provided)

Understanding Your Community

Achievements Awards Event

Multicultural Arts and Media Center is organising “Achievements Awards Event” on Sunday 2nd March 2014 at MAMC from 11am to 4pm. The event is for all communities and attended by the Mayor to enjoy arts and media activities, multicultural performances, poetry, health and wellbeing projects, performances by famous Sanyogita Kumari from Birmingham.

Interfaith Cultural Conference

The Interfaith Cultural Conference is being organised by Multicultural Arts and Media Centre (MAMC) on Wednesday 20th November 2013 at 12pm to 4pm at MAMC with organisations, faiths and individuals from all communities from the borough who have been meeting over the months at MAMC. The group have agreed terms and reference for the project and this will be the first event to share discussion.

There will be presentations from diverse lecturers to discuss some of the following:
1. What is Culture?
2. Understanding Your Community.
3. Importance of Multiculturalism in Schools.
4. How Arts and Media can help Wellbeing.

This event for all communities including, teachers, council officers, youth officers and community organisations.
